There's more to Balmain, than those exxagerated shoulder pads. I was so impressed with their Mens 2010 S/S lookbook. The Jeans with the boots, the jumpers and most of all their leather jackets. Amazing collection
As a kid I hated how oppressive heavy-knit jersey's were, but I find myself being drawn to them more and more now. I got myself a blue jersey with a similar patter, although i love the collar on this S.N.S Herning Spark Jumper. I'd like to see this over a white shirt/black skinny tie combo.
I'm not a big fan of high-top sneakers, especially the colourful ones. However, once in a while I do spot a pair that I'd wear myself. I like this pair of Vans vault-mountain-editions, because of how versatile they are, I'd wear them with a Plaid shirt, dark blue jeans and a thick woollen jersey.
After a conversation I had with a friend yesterday, I realised just how little colour i experiment with. Yet it's the very same thing that always makes the ladies and lad's on the sartorialist look so modern and daring. Time to make a change. I like these colourful shoes, I'll try a pair of colourful loafers first.
My very good friend recently decided she'd knit her own scarf because there's not many places you can get a really huge chunky scarf, especially in navy and grey. It's perfect for keeping warm in winter but most of all it just really looks good. P.S. The scarf, leather jacket combo is definitely worth trying too
I recently purchased a pair of brown wing-tipped shoes, and i must admit that before my purchase I'd always veered away from brown/tan shoes. This is the perfect example of how shoes can make your whole look classy and different. Try it out
